Lebanon will be tough in the CMD.
Lee loses 4, Stafford will be the big loss. Also lose Terry, Newman, and Young. Should return around 6. They also had one move up from jv near the end of the year that played pretty well at the end of the season.

Play Like a Champion Today

Wise not the only team without any shooters. From top to bottom there is not one single player from any team that should put fear in your heart.
PV could, indeed, be a very good team and should vie with Kelly--and perhaps Appy--for the LPD championship. Garrison is quick and handles the ball well. Can he take care of the ball with bigger, stronger, more physical players guarding him? Has he developed a consistent jump shot? Last year on JV he was very inconsistent. Will Vaughn live up to his size? Martin will have to exercise a lot of leadership, in addition to scoring. Will Pinkston play?
Kelly is senior heavy (five holdbacks and one true senior). They will play well together on both ends (especially the defensive end), but have they improved their individual offensive skills over the year? They didn't appear to have last year. Dotson showed some signs of offensive life, but not in big games. Clark has all of the physical skills and offensive tools, but will he be able to translate this into consistent play as a true sophomore? My guess is that Kelly will have an even better year this year than last.
Appy intrigues me. F Stewart was very good as a holdback freshman last year. He has more quickness than anyone in the LPD. But has he developed a shot from outside 12 feet? He didn't play football this year. Hopefully, his father had him (and his brother, too, for that matter) in the gym . I'd like to see what he could do with a complete offensive game. Otherwise, he'll have to rely on fastbreak buckets. He'll also need to keep his emotions in check. The big German kid is 6'10". He doesn't have any skills or much girth, but if he can simply rebound, block shots, and get a few stickbacks, Appy could win the LPD.
Pound is an unknown at this point. Bolling is certainly a force inside. If he spent some time over the summer and fall improving his footwork, he could be unstoppable. But, as PVFAN says, who'll get him the ball. Logan showed some signs last year. Perhaps he's been in the gym working.
gate city will win the cmd easily..
I'm very exited for the up coming season to see the raiders play with additions of Miles, Diets, and Goins. Add Talley and Coleman and this could be one of the dangerous teams in SWVA.
Wouldnt go that far, dangerous in the LPD though.
Coeburn would crush the Raiders!

Gate City lost the majority of their team. Nothing will be easy for them this year.
